Intro to Enameling

Date: 10 Feb 2007
 

• Diamond sanding sticks
• 6" silver cloisonne wire
• A fine silver cup will be supplied for your project (an additional fee will be collected by the instructor the day of class)
• Medium Temperature / Medium Expansion Enamels:
  • Fusing Clear (Thompson 2020 or 2030)
  • A selection of cool enamel colors (blues and greens). Your enamels may be opaque or transparent.
• Pair of fine-point tweezers
• Embroidery scissors
• Fiberglass brush
• Small watercolor palette or plastic spoons
• Small spatula with flattened end (or a small palette knife)
• Small jar
• #0 or #1 sable paint brush
• A particle or dust mask
• OPTIONAL: gold and silver foil

A $35 materials fee for a silver cup will be collected by the instructor the day  of class.
